▼measuring principle
microwave is a kind of high-frequency electromagnetic wave. the attenuation and phase change of the microwave transmission medium are mainly determined by the dielectric constant and the medium loss angle tangent value of the medium. water is a polar molecule, and the dielectric constant and dielectric loss angle tangent of water are much higher than that of the general medium. usually, the dielectric constant and the loss angular tangent value of the water-bearing medium are mainly determined by its water content. main resonator and auxiliary resonator form a closed loop resonant chamber, the measured medium through the gap between the chamber, the microwave from the main resonator microwave emission source, through the measured medium into the auxiliary cavity, microwave in the measured medium water content, microwave amplitude and phase change, the microwave receiver in the main resonance chamber, receive the microwave signal. according to the attenuation of microwave power and the change of phase shift, the mathematical model of the moisture content can be calculated. water content = moisture content / quantitative 100%.
